I?ve noticed that newest fw upgrade doesn't recognize the 085B chip ID, from 31st July and before works great, tuner, net port, bs, etc; but on august, september and october FW shows as clone with chip ID FFFF, could be possible that 085B identification was missed at this new fw or simply these are clones?Comment

I have to disagree with you in regard to my S10, which has 085B Chip id and has been loaded up with all the latest s9/s10 Firmwares and has always returned a 085B code. Is it possible you had a false reading from the old firmware and your box is a clone.I?ve noticed that newest fw upgrade doesn't recognize the 085B chip ID, from 31st July and before works great, tuner, net port, bs, etc; but on august, september and october FW shows as clone with chip ID FFFF, could be possible that 085B identification was missed at this new fw or simply these are clones?
Try doing a factory reset and saving all your setting individually thru the Misc option, load the last FW and see if you still get FFFFLast edited by dluisi; 12 October, 2011, 15:34.Comment

Thank you guys...before upgrade chip ID reads 0200...after upgrade with new FW it reads 9D1A.....whys that....
New FW works better than the previous version....no more distortion on FTA HD channels...auto detects TV resolutions....better signal....thanks a lot guys.....
Unfortunately we don't have Card Sharing network here....I heard about code sharing using internet line need to be plugged to the receiver all the time...does anyone know about that stuff...Last edited by agpjpapac; 14 October, 2011, 04:31.Comment
