i installed it too, and i can confirm the avatar cam setting is there. however what does this actually do?

another thing is the favorites menu goes back to being in a single list, rather than the multi column list as in the 09/11 firmware.

not too sure if this is the latest firmware??

Avatar cam is for non european settings I think.

I purchased this receiver very recently and the channel list with the firmware that came with it only had one column. When I installed the september firmware it had 3 columns I was getting used to it and now there is only one column again. But atleast on the single column there are more charaters and it's easier to see the channel name. Maybe that's why they reverted back to one.

The s10 has no ethernet card.
The ethernet components are soldered on the mainboard.

do you put the usb in first and then reset to factory settings for openbox s9 then upgrade by usb

Newbie,updated latest firmware for s10 but need CCcam.cfg

Hi, New to this freesat stuff. Just got S10 but with no Network Function as part of deal. Took cover off,found above card loose in PCB slots. Bingo ! Downloaded latest firmware, Bingo ! Now stumped, no "CCcam.cfg file found". Tried getting it, Like holy grail finding it. What am I doing wrong , any help ? Cheers.

There is new software dated 17/11/11 on the first page.
Tested my self on S10 and working smoothly. Only thing to remember is reboot stb after scaning channels.

Hi, i recieved a Openbox S11 today, updated with this OPENBOX_S10_111117.rar, working fine my chip ID is 10AA, also i noticed the firmware that came with openbox s11 had avatercam feature with this update its gone ??

you should always save the firmware 1st before doing any upgrade,just in case. I think there was some firmware labeled as avatarcam floating around for the s10

Box rebooting continuosly

Hi, I am a newbie. I wonder if somebody can help please.
I have installed the new firmware but the receiver keeps rebooting as soon as I use the remote control. i have tried to reset by switching the off for 5 minutes but no joy.

no new software for s9 ? looks like the producers abandoned the s9 :P

i want to upgrade the cccam, to make it able to read a card and share it to a network, at the same time as i receive other cards from the same network as i share too.

i havent had time to look at this yet, but i wonder if the flash files are encrypted or packed ?
