is it skybox specific or it comes directly from the openbox manufacturers?
I'm asking because the main skybox site doesn't report this new firmware.

There is a new skybox specific firmware released also, I didnt upload here because the s9/s10 would be more popular here at DK. A quick google should find it.

There is new software Europe version dated 02/09/2011 for Sky/openbox S9 and S10 on the first page. Please feed back

Everytime I upgrade from the software that checked if my box was a clone (which is was not), I get bad sound on the scart output. Is there any firmware what fixes this?

The sound quality is rubbish so I have to go back to the dump I did and then perfect again. It is a S9 by the way

The rar file states Openbox_s9_02_09_11 but when you extract it the file is Openbox_s10_nds.abs. Is this a mistake and is it safe to use with the openboxs9?

i have tried it and i went back to my original one (15/08 i think it was)this f/w changed the boot up screen from 'skyboy' to 'openbox' gives you a block of 3 lists on chanels instead of the one list,moving chanels from one fav to another i just couldn't get it and i noticed there is no number 7 in the fav's list of 8 but then again when i reloaded my original f/w it was mssing there aswell so that might be a mistake i made somewhere not sure.

i didn't like it but thanks to the op for uploading for us to try it out
