    You have not loaded any firmware on the box if you haven't passed this screen..




    If this is are far as you get......then get the error......its the wrong cable....or....the time of plugging the power in....or....the box is dead

    have you tried both the eprom flash software's there are 2 of them......one works if the other doesn't

    1 erom_upgrade_8Mflash.rar
    2 Upgrade_PVR800_HD_Tool.rar

    yup, tried diff firmware m8, guess you have to take a wee slap now and then eh ...hate getting beat too, thanks for the help guy's, much appreciated

    Could be the firmware that you loaded could always try a different one....but i would guess the box is......well you know what i mean.....the F5 boxes are not the best

    Ive tried another in its place with no probs, mind you this box was dead and i gave it the kiss of life , maybe sumit wrong with it now, saying that i get normal tv so a strange one eh, oh and tried another ingredient and that too stayed off yet was ok in the f5 box it came from, on the verge of giving up but hate getting beat haha

    Yeah m8, ticks there and green, maybe the box is kaput or some kind of setting is blocking the online side.

    Thanks Hadron, tried it both ways, also tried ingredient in another and its fine, tried factory reset, older firmware etc, no luck, all is great except the offline bit, i'm using ethernet so not like it could be wifi prob, anything else come to mind bud?

    Have you set your DHCP back to ON.

    With most firmware I have tried, the default seems to be DHCP = OFF.

    usually the oldest firmware you can find for a particular model is a good choice.
    As an example,for the openbox s10 I use the may 2011 firmware,which was the 1st to have lan manager support.
