i've used the loader for years almost every day and never got that error unless it was with oddball firmware from another brand receiver.

I have just tested that link again & it's working fine.

It should download a .zip file which unpacks to a folder within a folder containing eromclient.abs, EromUpgrade.exe, flashburn.ini, LZMA.EXE, sdram.ini.

If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, try using Firefox. IE has a known problem with corrupting some compressed files.

you must use openbox loader v2.0.0c and not some linux loader, since openbox isn't real linux.

    that was bogus

put the null modem cable in the lappy open dreamup ,,,,, dreamup i hear you say its a openbox not a dreambox

ah i tells you dreamup auto detects the comm port number that you lappy is using

so just use this in your open box proggy

If someone tells me how to add a zip file to this thread I'll do or IM Me ..Thanks Digital Kaos and all who post
Can you please upload all these files so I can try revive my box. Thank you
