I notice that Box Office 42 is showing Forces TV.

It does say that and that indeed is the size of the file,so I've obviously download it correctly.

But when i update via the box,it mustnt work. When i hit upgrade by usb its saying upgrade none. Any ideas??

Hi Try this;-

Press Menu on remote, and highlight ''Tools''

Select 'Upgrade by USB'

On new window, use arrow keys to change top line to 'Misc Files'

Move down to 'Select and Upgrade'

A new window opens, select 'TP_PROG.dbs' press green button (or Ok) to place a tick by it then press yellow button to upgrade

remember to put a tick by it so its selected. hope this helps.

Managed to find firmware that worked it all ok now

I tried updating my channel list this morning but nothing happened they are still the same '$$$'. So I tried what was said in earlier post about updating firmware but when I did this it said 'Hardware Mismatch'. Any ideas. Thanks.

new channel list which you updated on this one is SET MAX. SONY ENTERTAINMENT, STAR PLUS HD, ZEE TV. and few other channel is not working said scrambled please update somthing which we can watch those channel

can you show me how to install the latest firmware

Unpack the firmware & copy it to a memory stick.

Go to menu > tools > upgrade by USB. Upgrade mode = Image file. You should see your .abs file listed. Select YES for "Keeping DBS & settings". Press OK. When done the box should reboot.

All your previous settings should be available in the new firmware (channel list, time settings, etc.). If you don't already have a copy of your "special" info, then it might be an idea to back that up first.

i have a problem with the adults channel ( some of them work and others i only get sound but no picture) is it normal or is it my box

You need to install the latest firmware. This is a problem that affected certain channels on F3s & F5s boxes.

the Fta channels don't freeze at all just the others did?

Hello guys. I've downloaded the link and the channels are there but im unable to get the sports and movies etc.

I guess you know what has run out.

Go to Menu-Network-C###s setup-C##m client setup-manage config files-C###m.cfg (you may need to press 6666 at the network menu to get C###s client setup)

if it says 'offline' then your assumption is correct

My last one would freeze often,would that be the box?

if the freeze produces a dollar sign with a green background on your screen then it isn't your box that's causing the problem, if it's a picture freeze on FTA channels it could be a dish alignment problem.

Pressed that. just says no Radio channel

You need to be in "all channels" rather than one of the favorites to select the radio channels.
