hi mate mine was all correct except for sky box office being in scottish

Ahhh right. The problem is, AJ list doesn't have a Scottish favourite category! I take it that you were previously using a channel list from someone else (CWAITE perhaps?).

Not all channel list providers use the same categories for their favourites, so you get problems when you switch from one to another. The way round it is to do a "Factory Settings".

To get the headers to show correctly, you need to reset your box back to Factory settings after you have installed the latest channel list (menu > tools > factory settings). A message will appear to say that it will erase the channels. Select Yes. A pop-up menu will appear with options to erase other files. DO NOT SELECT ANY OF THESE. Press the blue button on remote. Wait a few seconds for the data to be saved.

You should now have the favourites labeled correctly.

Put the box into standby & then back to ON. (You have to do this now before making any of the changes mentioned below, otherwise they will revert back).

Depending on which model of openbox/skybox you have, these menu options may need to be reset...

Check summer time is set correctly.
EPG default setting will be "satellite"
If you have your channel list layout set to "three" it will reset back to "whole" in the M/P > GUI config setting.
Check DHCP is set to ON
Check Local time setting is still on UK
Subtitles will be set to ON
Network Local Settings may be hidden on older boxes (press 6666)
camds setup may be hidden in Network Local Settings (press 6666)
Volume will be reset to half way
PIN might have been reset to 0000 (not sure about this, as I never change it).

It's driving me insane. There's seemingly lots of people with the issue described above but none of my boxes and nobody I know can recreate the problem!? It works fine here. Most people with the issue seem to have to v8s, so I was wondering if it's a firmware issue but it's still working fine with all the different firmware I've tested, and I can't get anyone with a problem box to send me their backed up image!

Is the 27-11-15 update being added on here as the one from AJ site never works for me just goes straight to 100% where as the updates here go slow to 10% then shoots to 100%

I have emailed you backup image from v6s (same firmware as v8s)

from a quick look there is adult category in the faves even tho i downloaded no adult

within this category only one channel shows up.. its name escapes me. but i emailed u the details

Hi have you checked your signal quality ?? All BT Sports channels working fine on receivers like Spiderbox, Technomate and Starsat etc. It could also be you are having connectivity issues somewhere along the line or your box is crap.

I tried to update the firmware on skybox f5s but getting messaged Hardware Mismatch... Any ideas

hi quick question if anyone can shed some light pls ,
running a f5 skybox with the latest aj update, but when ever i click on a hd channel bbc1hd or any $bthd it just fuzzes the whole screen box jams &
dose not respond to remote control only way to get it back is switch box from mains and reload it and make sure i don't click on that channel again other wise same scenario happens again.

i have 2 boxes one at my own address and 1 at parents mine works fine and theirs seems to shut of when you click any hd channel!

Could be a firmware problem......check what on the boxes see if they are the same

Updated a couple of boxes lately,it resulted in the favs were mixed up a bit and also it put a requirement to input password to access menu. The latest update ,didnt seem to have this problem.

Surely if it was a 3rd party problem, then I'd be getting scrambling on every channel. Which I'm not. Bt sport 2 hasn't missed a beat as yet. Bt sports 1 has scrambled 4 times in 2 mins
