Upgrading channel list

hi im new to all this and have just bought a F3 box today. It is all setup with the free gift and im getting most of the channels. There are a few channels that come up as scrambled and im am unable to view them. After having read through various posts it seems that i need to update the channel list in order to get these scrambled channels working?

When following the update procedure for the channel list will it delete any settings for the free gift or is it simple as putting a new channel list onto an USB and upgrading it on the box menu?

Is anything other than that required?

no this wont affect your gift you are only putting a list on your gift will remain in your box.

Hi, this is fantastic channel list all working perfect, any chance for same quality list of channels from Hotbird 13.0 ( Polsat, Cyfra+, NTV) plus SKY UK, I have no problem to find them seperate but never together, thanks.

Hi, I have a very good channel lists for openbox, one very good sky uk channell list from this forum and one more channel list for all polish tv from Hotbird 13.0, and here is my problem how to connect them 2 channel lists , keep some fav from one list and add some fav from another satelite, keep first 8 fav from sky uk list and add some fav from hotbird list so i could have 2 satelites on one list, how to do it ?????

Scrambled channels

ive loaded the latest aj channel list dated 5/2/13 onto the f3 however some channels are still scrambled, such as a few of the asian ones. Any ideas how i fix this?

Hi Mate,

The channel list has nothing to do with some of your channels showing as scrambled. You need to speak to your supplier to see if those channels are provided.
More of a supplier issue than channel listing,

the supplier says all channels are open, ive checked some other channels too and im not even getting itv 3 hd and itv 3 is not on aj's channel list. The other itv's work fine.

Hi Mate,

The channel list has nothing to do with some of your channels showing as scrambled. You need to speak to your supplier to see if those channels are provided.
More of a supplier issue than channel listing,

I thought it does because some channels which were previously scrambled are now working since i uploaded the aj list on to it

I have installed the channel list as per AJ's instructions on a skybox f3 it loads a channel list but not like a sky UK list, have many channels missing sports, movies, asian etc which were there prior to installing, I removed the channel list tried adding again but did not work, the box showed noch, can anyone help pls?
