Hey Cwaites list is the mutts nuts like . Just after some advice, I live in UK Cumbria to be precise and I have noticed that sky have an ITV HD regional channel. Cwaites list says its on channel 1038. But that's not this region, its the west country. I have looked at all of the ITV HD channels but i am unable to locate it.

Can anyone help me with this ? I'm sick of watching ITV Granada in HD

I'll try and explain better.

I have an V8s box.
everyone around my location who have sky boxs (proper ones) have ITV HD on channel 103 and it is regional to Border, So with that in mind it must be getting it from the sat. I have carried out several searches on my v8s blind inc and received several ITV HD channels however not one is Border HD. I know this by going to the epg and looking at a regional news cast eg 17:45 on a monday in my region it should say Lookaround (the sd channel does & proper sky boxes). It seems to me that my v8s is not receiving the channel from the sat. So with that in mind i have looked at the v8s search settings inc LNB settings and frequency settings. All seem ok, universal freg 9??? - 10600 i think.
So i am at a loss with this, very frustrating i know the channel exists but i can not get my v8s view it.

i tried to update the channel list and it appears that i've 'bricked' my box. All i get now is a 'Load' graphic on my box. Did i do something wrong?

I tried a channel on my F5 box a few weeks ago and it happened, today ive tried a new list off this site on my V8 box and the same thing has happened. I updated my channel lists dozens of times over the past few years. Pretty annoyed.
