Try as I may I just cant get this box to flash is there anybody that can repair the box for me

why are you trying to re-flash the box?

More info needed really like what you trying to reflash and where from and what message you getting?

The box just keeps on loading all the time I have tried everything to flash it but no joy

my box says synchronizing stbs and please reset target and then it does not move and I found my com port is 1 and my bit rate is 9600 so I have set it at that and I have tried the two upgrade files and I have checked that I have the correct cable so I don't know what else I can do.

The box is working at last by borrowed an old XP pc and it worked thanks for all your help

Not always a good idea to keep re-flashing.I'm told it can cause problems at the other end of your phone line ?
Or can someone correct me on that 'myth' ?

Not quite sure what you mean ???
when you flash the box....its only connected to the computer & power cable

It sounds like the channel list was problem.

I know you're sorted now but I'm sure I read that Sattv5 said it may be possible in cases of the box rebooting to press menu (prob before box tries to use channel list) which then delete channel list.
