Help trying to set up new box

Trying to set a new box up in my sons room
when entering cline its either saying offline or when i re enter saying online/login?

Are you using a wired ethernet connection, or wireless?

hi using ethernet cable


I have another box that works fine on the cables this box is going into. new box is receiving free to air channels, i have contacted provider just wasnt sure if i had installed incorrectly

you need to reboot the box if it says offline or login or delete line and entre again and reboot the box it will work if the line is ok.

ok have tried this a couple of times and have used line provider before and check with them line is fine so how many times could it take for it to work?

hi ive just had same problem are u putting in manually or by usb? because I coundnt get it to go on online until they sent it as an e mail attachment and I put it on via usb .. hope this helps

im not trying to use 2 at same time, im trying to set up another box for a friend using my internet for its only a matter of connecting at their house and the codes not coming online and ive been advised by provider its on at their end?

u need to ask them to send it as attachment e-mail U then go on utube and see how to put it on ...ps there is a way for you to put straight to usb pen but first way quicker and easier ..GOOD LUCK
