Can't solve epg being 1 hr out??

To fix the bug :
Try the new firmware for F3S or F5S : System Setup -->EPG Default Setting --->Summer Time ON.

Just installed, is anyone else having a problem with channels in favourites not staying in alphabetical order? Everytime i put them A/Z it changes back and doesnt save?

There has been a new firmware releases to fix this problem now and its sorted the problem out on my box

Although i only put the 7day on yesterday im also having the 1 hour epg problems . I noticed on the usb install of this update it said will do a factory reset on confirmation , so i cancelled. Will i lose the important Info doing that ?

You have the latest software on your box which has fixed the Epg problem. I suspect that you did not read the release notes when you downloaded it and that you just simply need to enter the " Time and Epg Setting " and put the setting for "Summer Time" to "ON" or if you've done a factory reset do the same alteration as well as putting the EpgXML setting to "Internet".

Ok mate cheers ,i did the summertime to on , the epg still seems hit and miss and its a hour out , so i need to use this fix , but will this factory reset it wants to do for the fix to go on, wipe the box.. as in wipe The stuff i need for it to continue to work proper ?

It shouldn't do but it's always best to back up your files first. Have a look at my post below for more detailed instructions on how to back up your files and then upgrade your software :

If you select to keep DBS & settings, all your important info & channel list should remain.

I also tried it without selecting to keep DBS & settings & it still kept the important line, but not the channel list & some other settings.

As bigade1 says though, you should always have a copy of your important line on your pc. You never know when your box might brick itself, so you need a backup.

F5S skybox, ive done the firmware with a factory restart but kept DBS and settings, summertime is on and epg is set too internet but my epg is still one hour out.
what have i missed.

Ok this may sound stupid as i havent read the entire thread but, i had this problem and took a bit of fiddling about but got it sorted! In the menu "local time settings" made sure top said uk but changed gmt usage (by region) to user defined which once selected brings up the summertime setting. Change the offset by 30 mins then alter summertime to on then take the offset back down to zero. When changing this you can see that the time alters by 1 hour at the bottom of the screen. may sound stupid changing the offset first but if i changed the summertime setting on mine it was still an hour out. Or you could just change your region to france but thats a little bit cheating. Sorry if you have already done this but if not i hope it has sorted it or helped you.

Are you sure you're using the LATEST firmware? Check the " Information " setting of your box. It should state 3601HD_10_04_2014_0670 as posted in my thread here :

If you do have the correct firmware, recheck the summertime and epg internet settings, reboot the box then check the same settings again.

If you can see that particular region setting then you must be using an out of date firmware. The Epg time discrepancy is fixed in the latest released firmware. The later firmwares no longer have the regional time setting. They only have the GMT Offset and Summertime settings.

as you will tell im a complete newbie.
i have used the december firmware, i have now got and used the one from your above link and all is i think just fine.
not sure why but i got the december one from here and from skybox, must just be me being dense.
thank you for helping, it was getting a little frustrating.
