All I can say is, we all knew this was going to happen so what's all the griping about. Like many others (Andy91) I was prepared so the disruption is minimal, the option has been there for everyone if they wanted to put the effort in. Yes I know a lot people don't have the cable option but they do have the option of a motor or fixed dish multi sat. Both these systems can be had for around ?150 then you read the many tutorials available including mine on multi sat or the very good motor tutorials on this very site to set it up yourself. Even your closed source plug and play boxes are capable of running these systems. It is not difficult if you follow the instructions and you will always find members on here are more than willing to help someone who is willing to help themselves, this is how the knowledge base within the community grows and if just one of these people have a hidden talent that leads to them developing other options then we are all onto a winner cause everyone in this community remembers where they started from and the cycle is complete ready to start again.

Good post HH, Digicon warned everyone about this last year yet the plug and play brigade sat back and now all are panicking.
If your happy with sd then there's not a lot to worry about at present but like HH says in his post we made the decision early enough so there wasn't any disruption and personally I went down the motorised route when I first started so there's always more than one way to skin a cat especially if you don't have cable in your area.
Facts are plain and simple in the next few weeks you will lose all of your $ hd channels period.

I know nothing about motorised dishes etc. Quick question - can you pick up premier league football easy enough? All I can say is, we all knew this was going to happen so what's all the griping about. Not something I really look for but I'm sure I've seen some Rugby on my travels. Not sure if it's uk or not. As for cricket well how can something be classed as a sport of you have time to sit down for afternoon tea in the middle of a game
but in answer to your question no I haven't seen any cricket

Ive read previously on Skybox that if you use certain security settings on your router this can make a difference. Try it without any security and see if you get your channels back.

Having just received my Xspeed LX3 Receiver and just set it up with a clean install and Satellite scan for Channels on 28.2E
I can not view BT Sport 2 HD it shows up in the listings and their is a choice of 2 but I get no signal
I checked the 1st post here to see if it had been blocked by sly but it is not listed as being off
I have checked Kings of sat and done a manual scan on 11604v 3/4 it shows them but they do not work BT Sport 1 HD is fine have they changed the frequency any ideas anyoneComment

That's really strange just did another Manuel scan on 11604 V 29500 3/4 it found the channels but still no picture on either of the BT Sports 2 HD channels
SNR 47% & AGC 94% on all the other channelsand the ESPN HD & BT 1 HD work fine that where scanned with the BT 2 HD
I Think I will check my Dish in case it has movedLast edited by nsw9154; 14 June, 2014, 13:27.Comment
