the hard drive formats to ntfs it will play avi and mpeg and mp3 and c/s is ok and all free to air channels if you don`t use c/s

I wasn't aware you could play avi, mpeg and mp3. I tried it once and it didn't work. When did they add this feature?

I want to be able to use the box to output to two devices... my TV via HDMI at 1080i but also to another screen using scart however when i do this i get a message saying "No osd show, Press V.Format Key to Switch". I know what this means i'm just wondering if anybody knows how to remove this message.

i too would like to know how to output to two devices (hdmi and scart) at the same time .
also what is the latest firmware available ?

How can you view chnnels that are not TV by default? I mean sly active channels which in dreambox we use dreambox edit to change tha channel attribute to tv and load the channles back to dreambox, how can you do the same on these boxes?

Download a channel list, here's the one i used.

Go to upgrade by USB > Select Misc > then upgrade the following file: TP_PROG.dbs

I've had the same problem. I resolved it by changing the output format to 576i to remove the message from the panel of the device connected via SCART.

Thats the problem, i want to be able to watch in 1080i amd output to another device without that message appearing.

I,m not sure i can upload a config file to the site,....you can enter the details via remote>>>>>menu,,>..Cccam client setup,..>manage config file,....>press 1,....>press blue to add,and entre the details given to you.

Does ths box allow you to know which server you are connected to? On TM600 you press bookmark and on Spiderbox you press info twice, wondering can you do something similar on this box?

Only when you power off/on, the box boots bk up and the info is displayed

As known the dm800's are very touchy.
