Openbox S9 HD PVR Linux Satellite Box

Hello, I'm new to this box. Is HDS2_CMT_1101030405 the newest firmware? If not can you please point me to the right direction. I can***8217;t find the official website.

ive got openbox 7000hd in bedroom great box for price i got mine from a web shop for ?80 next day delivery it is basic but i think the quality of picture when watching hd channel is realy good for the price you might pay for a china dm you get hd record to usb memory stick updating box is by usb and remote for me it dose what i want it to do being disabled its just about idiot proof only little problem ive had was i put it in livingroom as my box there was freezing and glitching every couple of breaths and i tried after football to install onto motorised dish but i struggled setting up so back to fixed dish for openbox

Decided to dust off my S9 today.
Anyone know why no matter what Firmware or Channel dumps I use I still cannot get amongst others Sly Sports Hd3, all Hd Movies ? the corresponding non Hd chan is fine.

I have tried April,March Jan Firmware with all different chan dumps but still no joy. I have done this a few times now over the last 6 months or so and generally it's been fine but now it's all gone tits up.

They all work fine on my 800Hd but not on Openbox connected to the same feed ( not at same time)
I have been in the all chans list after a scan and tried the various ones there but all I get is " No Signal"

now scratching my head a bit.

Have you tried doing a channel search of the appropriate transponder from the menu's transponder list? eg Sky Sports HD3 is on transponder 12363.00 V

Hi all. I have heard mention of clones flooding the market. I want to order up another box - as i'm quite happy with the other one I received.

How can I make sure its not a clone i'm ordering?

Sorted.

It was a signal issue. My Openbox tuner must be weaker than my DM800. An inline amp has sorted the issue.

Just a quick note to anyone looking at the openbox - there seems to be a new firmware out from 6th May which will allow FTP access via a dedicated bit of software. Just downloaded it now, but won't be till later today that I can upgrade & report.

Still using March FW and suffering from crackling audio.

I recorded The Pacific on Sly atlantic and the explosions etc cause the box to rattle the crackling is that bad! Hoping newest FW will fix this, otherwise no complaints about this box at all (apart from the CRAP epg!!)

Hi all. Can the reboot issue raise it's head all of a sudden despite using a good channel list? The reason I ask is that I have been using a good channel list for the past few weeks.

I went to check the TV this morning - and the box boots up into SS4 - but if I try and change channel (regardless of which channel), the box goes into a reboot.

Any insight that anyone has on this would be very welcome.

Cheers hooley - not put audio to the test cos little un's watching some crap with sinita & jedward "singing" on ITV, so volume as low as possible!!

BUT - and it may be me, but the EPG has gone! Press EPG button and you get a programme summary of now & next.

Either I'm doing something wrong, or the developers have decided the only way to stop us whinging about crap epg is to get rid of it!

Yes I have used it for a couple of monts now and its pretty awesomome. But li like the remote from the Dreambox better though.
