Is there something wrong with the tuner when it shows 44% as Signal intensity and 4-5 % quality no matter what you do with it..??

cant read cfg file

hi after upgrading my s9 i now find i cant load my c line with the usb stick, box says cant find file although it is there, also i can no longer find the key to input the : on the remote keypad anymore to input the c line manually, i cant remember having any problem before, any help appreciated , john

Just got my first and new Openbox S9 HD PVR ordered from dealextreame.com.

I will try to ugrade my firmware from HDS2-10-10-20:0747CMT to the latest and greatest. As read on several posts, the box do not seem to allow me to use static IP settings (it reboots back to DHCP every time...), DHCP also seems to fail, I can't find it on the network. My laptop gets an IP strait away with the same cable.

This problem makes my cccam not find the servers...Hope the new firmware will solve the issue.

I could never get that to work, I could see those X lines but sky de hd channels wont open for me either and they are fine on my Vu+.

Mine works fine. No issues with this latest firmware. Minor problems which are not important to me. I can say this box is better than DM500 HD which costs over ?300.

I'm sure my cable is ok!

Let's think, if my cable wasn't ok, how could i recover the box after a clone message?

I'm also able to dump the firmware evan when it's bricked.

Even using the pendrive with a 2010 version (when the 2011 is running), then it wont boot.

I get ON > boot > -- or just ON

But to recover, i have to put a 2010 fw version (it wont boot) and then come back to a 2011.

After a few reboots and normal use, i get again the clone message.

There must be a logical explanation for that.

The clone version of the S9 is called HD800 V8

i just unpacked my S9 and replaced my DM500s with it, but there is no signal on the S9. I was using it to watch hotbird. No matter what i try theres still no signal. Can someone help me?
