The channels section is greyed out and i cant scan.

You access scan functions from 'Installation', the second item down on main menu. Have you looked here?

Hi, I have just updated the firmware you list but i have no channels now! Can you advise on how to get my channels back?

Go to the settings menu and reset to default

then upload the attached firmware below

then upload the channel list below

thats it all will work

Firmware to use latest and very stable (NM_HDS2_CMT_1101030405.rar)

Channel Sky Uk favourite list (TP_PROG.rar)

Channel Editor (PVR 800.rar)

Dump File Firmware and Channels in one file (as above but in one file) (HDS2_DUMP.rar )

I currently use all these and all work perfectly, all corrupt rebooting channels are removed

Used the Sly Uk Channel list from page 7 of this thread but not all the scanned channels appear to be in the fav lists.
Alibi and Alibi+1 are not in there. There seems to be quite a few in the scanned sat list that aren't in the favourites.

How do I edit the channels in the scanned sat list and organise them into favourites myself?

I'm not complaining and I appreciate the work you've already put in.

If I want to delete all the channels and start again would it be better to do it manually or just do a factory reset and scan again?

Thanks again for the channel list, saved a lot of time. I have a couple of questions:
1 - I am getting glitching but only on HD channels, they were fine on the first day i used the box, but now are unwatchable, sd channels are fine.
2- i am getting irish tv adverts for some reason! This is happening on discovery channel and maybe others (cant remember now) Does this channel list have irish versions of the channels?

Based on kevhky list, I've done a full scan on 28.2 and added all the missing channels, and rearranged everthing into the correct fav groups,.

Took me a while, but worth it I think
