do you need to have a smartcard to use keys? and how often would the providers change the keys?

ray1990 , inside your dreambox theres a keysfolder ,it simply updates the old ones..no card needed ,just point to the said platform ,,but as also mentioned ther are very few left to update..

All,
I am facing an issue, I was doing an update on my box and guess doing it wrong. So my box was not reacting at all.
I had to reinstall a new image plus bouquet for Sgp.
Issue now is that I do not have the required SCCE and keys for it.
I see all the channels in the list, but all locked.
Any advise where I can download it?
