Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

mfaraj57 congratulations for offering such a nice program. There are few issues which I have noticed:
some times there is no picture, and some times no sound. This happens after changing few channels using this program. I have to reboot the pc to make it work again. (I am using Win 7)
The columns for list of bouqutes and services can not be resized to make the vieing window bigger. If press button to make viewing bigger, or full screen the colums disappear.
Program shows wrong version on interface. Also, when cursor is on Start Restreaming button it shows "record" as its label.
Pressing "Sart Recording" button gives errors in VLC and doesnt do anything. Also, there is nothing in setup to set the folder and file name for the recording.
Streaming does not work when Advance option is selected in Settings.

This is the best soft i found for my dreambox 500s !!! It works fine for me! I want to ask (if it possible) to make some improvements I use sattelite 36e, and for program name mostly used russian language In your interface it difficult to read... Language change or just codepage could be wonderfull... Second wish - list of program to be numerated, integrated interface much better than webif, and changing of program will be easier.

your obesrvations are accurate and right,the official release is version 5.0.0,the update 5.0.7 has many minor bugs

The program designed in win xp enviroment ,however it is tested with win 7 and and it is working,regarding sound and pictures problems this is related to interaction of graphic codec in your system and not constant feature of the program ,installation of the program in clean enviroment could fix the problem or re-installation the codec filter in addition to installation of l-lite codec

regarding resizing the bouquets and channel lists you are right but this is due to limitation of programming language i have used but i will see away to fix this

You are right ,will be fixed in next close release

Typically vlc .99 should be used with the program,incorrect compination of codec factors(bitrates,scale,vcodec) with give error in vlc especially vcodec h264

To stream by using advanced option,the used should have knowladge to combine varous facotrs,else no streaming will occur

thanks for the detailed reply to my post. I will install vlc 0.9.9 and also try your new beta version. I hope with this new version the problem of sound and video disappearing and program stop responding will disappear.

Yes it is simple
just instal vlc4iphone on iphone side
check streaming to mobile in program settings
after start restreaming by the porgam take the appearing internet or local address and add it to playlist of vlc4iphone

Ok, I installed the codecs and the pic and sound issue is resolved. With new version of ur program I can record as well. I have installed the vlc 0.9.9 from the link you provided. Thank you very much.

I tried streaming, But it is no good as I am using Gemni image in DM500s. Where I can get the latest version of the image you are recommending? Also, the vlc gave me message to upgrade from 0.9.9 to 1.0.3 to fix few bugs and be compatible to win 7. I ignored the message as I had 1.0.3 and i installed 0.9.9 as per ur suggestion. Do you think I should upgrade as suggested by vlc 0.9.9 ?

Now here are couple of things which need your attention.
1. I have 5 lines (bouqutes) in Fav(TV) but the program only shows 4, does not show the last line. This issue was in previous version as well.
2. when press "resize viewing window" button 1st time the columns for list of bouqutes and services bringing small viewing window. Press the button 2nd time the view goes full screen and button disappears. Now using "Exit full screen" button on Win media player brings back small viewing window. Now pressing "resize viewing window" button 3rd time brings back the columns for list of bouqutes and services. My suggestion is to make it simple, pressing "resize viewing window" button should toggle between hide and unhide the columns for list of bouqutes and services. For Full screen mode or small view window button of Win media player should be utilized, which has this already.

Congratulations as the program is much improved overall. I will post if I found more issues or any suggestions I will have. Thanks again.

in your high setting you have the bitrate too high and the result is despite i have 1mbit upload frequent pauses

in your medium setting you have it too low!!

and when i try to do it manually i never get the result i want it's a real mess

so please tell what settings exactly are you using in your high quality presetting, i need the details to then finetune it manually

Hi. I have been experimenting with your programs on on DM500c with dkImage v1.1. The dreambox player works very well. I had no success with other programs in attempting to stream locally to my PC. Thank you very much. However I am having little or no success with streaming over the internet. I have managed to get a poor quality picture (unviewable) by changing and experimenting with different settings. I have also tried the "Web Receiver" Program but have had no success. I just keep getting the message "Cannot connect to server". I think I have set up dynamic DNS and Port forwarding correctly. Maybe it is just the fact that it is a cable box with the DKv1.1 image. All your screen shots refer to Satellite boxes. Are your programs specific to DMxxxxS boxes? If so can you advise on how to stream over the internet using a DMXXXC? Thank You.
