Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

I installed Tunisia-sat dreambox player&web streamer today. It seems a very cool program, but I'm having some problems with audio. Sometimes I get picture and audio, sometimes just the picture. There doesn't seem to have any relation to the channel, no pattern just works one time and when I come back later it doesn't for the same channel working on others, refreshing doesn't work.
Also when I record video, the audio on the recorded files has a sort of echo, coming and going. When I converted it to mkv though, it was fine.
I use EDG Nemesis 4.4. Don't try to suggest me Pli because I don't know why but the installation process always freezes when I try to install it. I have VLC 0.9.9 and Vista.

Hello my friend. i can't stream the VLC he show me this error Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://192.168.1.xxx:31339/0,0102,0201,0294,0295,1ffe'. Check the log for details.

and i can to restreaming with your programs..but work when i put manual in vl xxx.xxx.xxx.102:31344 not 31339 i try old versions from VLC but nothing yet

I tried setting this up but i get an error in Windows media player

windows media player can not play the file because of network error> server might not be available > verify you are connected to network and that proxy settings are correct>

VLC pops up and plays when i hit start restream but when i copy the mms address into a browser i get the above error. My Dns and ports are correct. Has anyone had this error and sorted it ?

password protect stream

Hello to everyone.
First of all i must congrats you for your excellent software my friend.
It is trully the easyest way to stream the box to the net!

I have a question/request.

Is there any way to password protect the stream?
The way it is now anyone that knows your IP can open the stream with MediaPlayer.

How can i lock that?

Is there a better way to go about this procedure for some of us that are not tech head.

I have Nabilosat image on my dream box 500s and i have tried the process as outlined but with no luck; after loading up the player but the message on my screen is ''Error in loading, wrong ip and so on and on.

I was on this for about 8hrs please can you help.

noway streaming to pc from dreambox is best by pli ,if dreambox freeze with one pli image use another copy

port 31339 used for gemini and nabilo
port 31344 used for pli jade

There are definitely somethings wrong with dns or port 1234
you should try,first time will be difficult but afterthat will be very easy

no way to protect stream
but do not give your dns to anybody and also you can choose unique stream port nobody knows

This is the simplist procedure to do that
just give your dreambox ip,you dreambox username and password and that is all and enjoy your dream in your pc screen

This looks like it works perfectly apart from the fact I have a black screen. It says it's playing my tv selection but only black screen appears.
I have tried various versions of VLC incl the recommended V.99. I have configured my router for port1234 and 5678 as described but even though I know I have et my router up correctly, when I do a port check they are still closed. WTF is going on. Not giving up my bone Grrrrrrrr

do you mean viewing on local pc or remote pc
if on remote pc difficult to diagnose the problem remotely but changing port to other than 1234 could be useful
to view on local pc no need to forward or open any port but i insist in any case to use vlc version equal to 1.05 or less not more

I have the same problem. On some channels I can stream audio and on other channels, I can't. It appears to be random and I can't work out a common pattern. Any suggestions please on how to fix it?

sorry but practically pli jade on enigma1 dreambox is the best for streaming other images we should expect bad sreaming and streaming defects
