Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

Please help, I am using win7 32 bit and dm 500s. I loaded pli jade image but I have sound problem. Image is fine with mfaraj viewer 6.0.4 but no sound with many channels.. Do you have any idea to solve this problem? (VLC version is 0.9.9)

usually this problem from performance of image in dream(loaded memory),load fresh image may solve the problem

Hi Mfaraj, I can steam to one person no probs but steaming to more than one, my bandwith cant handle. I have a Giga server. Is it possible to stream to the server and then restream from there in order to stream to multiple people? Thanks

more flexibility in chosing upload speed and more advanced options

usually you can stream up to 5 persons without problem
but theoretically you can stream to server and restream again but practically the restream quality will not be so good

i am using windows media player and bitcontrol codec for receiving stream from enigma1 dreambox(more stable)
for enigma2 and and restreaming i am using vlc

Hi I have it working fine on my local network, Was using darkstar image that was fine, But after reading I changed to OpenPLi-beta-dm500-maxvar that is also working good,

Now I am trying to stream on the net, I have started the first stage of adding the info into my router for port 80 the answer I am getting is (service port No was defined by another service)
can I use another port No for this first stage.

Win XP Router Netgear Dg834g.

Im stumped, got an older version of tunisia running, streaming to justintv ok, but wont stream across the internet, got 2 other laptops not streaming across the internet, but all are ok with local streaming.

Now im assuming the dns settings are ok as the older tunisia is streaming to justintv.

Any ideas. .

I've been using version 6.1 successfully on Windows 7 but now want to run it on XP Pro in Virtualbox on Ubuntu 10.04. I've not been able to get it working this way yet. Is there any reason why it couldn't work in Virtualbox?

Although it appears to be streaming, I don't see any picture in the viewing window but if I tick "Restream by vlc player" then I see a picture. The port forwarding is a problem too with the private address given by Virtualbox in the range 10.0.2.x

Does anyone have experience of using DB Player and Streamer in Virtualbox?

I cant seem to get streaming to JTV working. The VLC Window pops up however in CMD i get this error:
Error 102: Could not find or access the file c:\dreambox\vlc.sdp

i had tried this in the past but gave up my fault.

i have

windows xp pro
vlc vlc-0.9.9-win32
dm500 pli jade

i cant even instal the program this time round :-/
i did delete the HKEY as advised

in the download i have

player
setup
setup.lst

when i try setup i get the following messageat stage 7
"setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date on your system. click ok if you would like setup to update these files for you now. you will need to restart windows before you can run setup again. cancel to exit setup without updating system files."

i did try ok and pc rebooted but nothing!

inside folder i see many icons portscanner works and port checker.

please help, what do i need to do to install on pc.

I solved this problem by opening Setup.lst in Notepad then putting ; in front of some lines under the [Bootstrap Files] heading. From memory, I think it was

another funny thing it is now installed but i can't open program egg timer come on a sec and nothing, not to worry pc is need of a format so may resort to that over the weekend.

could this have something to do with my previous installation?

Ok reformated pc which was well over due any way.

installed again and up and running 1st tie in in less than 5mins yey
