Does anyone know how to set up mgcamd with this Img ?

What folders do the files go in ?


Supported softcams (correctly named) are:
CCcam
evocamd
gbox
mgcamd
newcamd
oscam
and it/they belong in the /var/bin/emu folder

For mgcamd - you need to add the provided libcrypto.0.9.7 file to /var/lib -this is included in the file. FTP to copy.

U then need to download the mgcamd 1.38 file Google it.
Copy the following files to the box all files cAsE sensitive!
mgcamd in /var/bin/emu/
mg_cfg, newcamd.list in /var/keys/
sealions in cccamd.list in /var/keys/


Note it will be named mgcamd.ppc copy it to the right place then edit and change the name only to mgcamd save and close.

Close and restart should be to go.

I hope the sealions was a typo, can someone comment on that , also when I downloaded mgcamd 1.38 there was no cccamd.list inside.

Try the sealions in newcamd.list.

hi just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with rte 2 not clearing

Same here with RTE TWO, no picture or sound but the teletext service is working!! It's not showing as scrambeled and rescan has made no difference.

Commando has, and always WILL be a FTA image! There are NO softcams installed. However, for educational purposes and testing by individual users (as allowed under EU Law), menu support for 3rd party softcams is included.

Please just read the 'Softcam' section of the 'General Hints and Tips' helpfile that is packaged with C14.7 and you'll soon get the drift. Note that your proposed tests will also require the supporting lib file for your intended software. This is packaged too.

The latest C14.7 update is a quicky, not incurring a root reflash, therefore no reboot. But it does include a new satellites.xml and myservices.xml for Scan and AutoBouquets to use.

So if things don't seem to be quite right after the update, just reboot your box and THEN run AutoBouquets, simples!

go into bouqet editor and add it to international.

menu / srvices / b editor / international / green / find the channel press / ok

News 18 India shows up in the A-Z Bouquet but you may not have this enabled. Provided you are on the latest release with all the updates then to enable this bouquet press BLUE -> BLUE -> GREEN -> RED -> YELLOW.
After running AutoBouquets you should now have a bouquet called Astra 28.2E which is an A-Z listing of all the channels.
