For the price of this Dm500HD i can get 2 Dm800 and a dm500 on top.

To those who are thinking of Technomate, i personally will not go there.

Dreambox is the in-thing. Technomate are trying to imitate but they are still way down the packing order in terms of support and box capabilities

You have to remember both boxes run the same OS. ( Enigma ) and the functions on top come at a price..

Can some outlinie why you would use a DM500 HD over and above a DM800HD?

I dont know too much about them? It is more memory? Does the DM500HD run E2?

the 500 has a 400mhz processor the 800 as 300mhz
the both have the same ram 256
and the 500 has hdmi out put

to me this seems a great box and cant wait to get hold of one
but i will wait to see if there are any bugs first before buying one
