### How to flash a dm800 via web browser ###

Thats very good but where do you aquire the latest flash image for the DM800HD in the first place. Without it all these instructions cannot be used.

Try starting a new thread and put in exactly what your box is,what sim etc and then you might get some help if you ask very nicely.
Also say hello in the introduction section thats a good start!

What does Hello mean?
How was I not nice?
Why do I have to reveal details of my box?
Why would I need to open a new thread?

You need to chill out mate,click on that link below.
As for your box how do you expect us to help without all the details?
What if i gave you an image that bricks your box.
Each box has a different sim,wrong image wwith sim will semi brick the box and you will get No Ca Found.You wont be able toi boot the box and it will be dead.
I dont have to give anyone a break

Hello There i cant seem to get the web browser to work i can generate the ip from the dreambox then insert it in the browser the correct page loads then i browse for my nfi file click ok and nothing happens any ideas ?

Problem solved. Seemed to be browser compatibility issue. Just need to use an extremely old version of browser. Thanks.

Just flash the ssl82/84 nfi file 1st, then flash your nfi image file over the top mate.

Fairly new to dm800, but flashing from browser can be done by applying power to box whilst holding power button on/off switch at front of box. IP Address will appear on lcd display (if the box is connected to network)

tried using various browsers on mac but when i hit flash nothing happens, waited about 20 mins each time and nothing

No because it needs an ip address for it to work.
