I would have flashed it with a new FW, and installed a cam that have what you need.
You will find guides in this forum how you can do this...

I would recommend a MaxVar image.

I HAVE DM800 HD ORIGINAL , I FLASH GEMINI IMAGE VIA WEB BROWSER LAST TIME TO MY BOX. IT WAS VERY EASY FOR ME .JUST I PRESS POWER BUTTON HOLD FOR SOME TIME ***STOP*** THEN I GOT IP . ... start your box the normal way, uncheck DHCP in network, and try again...
do you reach it via a browser?

I TRY ED THAT WAY ALSO .DHCP OFF .I PUT IP 192.168.1.7
BUT STILL SAME .IF I MAKE DHCP ON .192.168.1.2 IP IS SHOWING IN THE RECEIVER , BUT WHEN I PRESS POWER BUTTON BLACK DISPLAY ON THE RECEIVER LED , I COULD NOT REACH TO THE BROWSER THIS TIME , LAST MONTH 2 TIME I DID WITH BROWSER EASY ,BUT NOT THIS TIME . THANK YOU

if there is no green V next to DHCP and it is 192.168.1.2 you should try to restart your DB, hold the power button in when you boot it, if it not starts as normal, try to use fex Firefox and go to 192.168.1.2

pull out the power cord, push and hold the power button(on the dreambox, NOT the remote), insert the power cord AS YOU HOLD THE POWER button in...
It should now stop and give you a DHCP adress, or 192.168.1.2 if you have set this IP.
Then try with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera etc on 192.168.1.2, OR the adress in the DB display

I DID THAT BUT ON DREAMBOX LED BLACK NOTHING IS THERE ,BUT I CAN SEE BACK OF DM NETWORK CONNECTOR RG 45 , IN THE CONNECTOR THERE IS RED+GREEN LIGHT .THEN I TRYED IN WEB BROWSER WITH IP .IT IS GIVEN SOMTHING DIFRENT FOR CHANNELS AND OTHERES BUT NOT FOR IMAGE .
