do you really need an EPG..?? use the internet to find out what is on, or bite the bullet and get a sky box and subscription

Sounds a bit crazy having to use the internet every time you want to see whats on it means having the pc on every time your watching tv.

Had sky but lets face it skys a rip off.

but yeah come on these boxes are made to be able to do this and that and there isnt even a decent epg out there for it.

Lets face it the dm8000 for example no one in there right mind are going to pay ?800 odd pound for a box just for FTA channels.

You would think by now that there would be more options out there for EPG than what is available which is very slim.

If you haven't got a null modem port, you'll need a USB to serial cable/adapter too

it will have to be older lappy with serial port as usb2serial adaptors can be a bit nippy at times for a novice bud
