CrossEPG Full Sly EPG

I get Cross to recoginise my HDD with media/hdd/crossepg edited in the /usr/crossepg/crossepg.configure file (db_root=/)

Weirdly when I try to update it after this the db_root=/ changes back to usr/crossepg/data & I have to go through the whole process again.

Anyone see what I could be doing wrong??

Bit late but the answer is obvious. If Crossepg don't see the hdd then its not mounted or not mounted properly and I would suggest either removing it from the set up and rebooting to reconfig it ot delete your fstab file from /etc and rebooting and letting the box find the hdd anew.

Might even be down to the image you are using or something that didn't quite install when it was first flashed. So might be worth just starting over.

I am having problems as it wont update. If I delete crossepg and then install it again it finds the downloaded file (extepgdata) on my usb. I think that I have a problem can someone point me in the right direction please. It is setup to look for the usb.

xepg working with cross epg ?

Was the new xepg completed and ported to older boxes like the dm 7025 ? Last I heard it was a work in progress. I tried to download xepg repack today but it just hung at parsing. The only one that works for me is open tv.

as far as i am aware the new version only got ported over to the newer OE2.0 images, Unless you can find a modified image
