All the latest versions of OScam do NOT need the 0963 BoxID in the oscam.server file.
OScam now reads the boxid directly from the card during start-up.

well the cards dead basically anyway but from what you are saying if i wanted to use my dead card i could just change the oscam configuration to 0961 and it would work

AU over CCcam

Many people still use CCcam as client, but unfortunately AU will not work with the CCcam protocol. For AU to work, you should set up OScam and CCcam to use CAMD3 protocol, with an L line in CCcam.cfg. The following is an example of two S02 cards which are updated by a CCcam client through the NewCamd protocol (N Line).




HD+

Unfortunately, OSCam cannot update an HD+ card with a CCcam client, neither by NewCamd, nor by Camd3 protocols. If the server also runs a CCcam server, you can use it as a workaround.
"Direct connection" NOT OK:
CCcam client connected to OScam server through N-line or L-line.
"Indirect" OK:
CCcam client through C-line to CCcam server and CCcam server through N-Line to OSCam

to answer your question no a old yellow house card ( caid 0961 ) will not work. sky terminated all of these cards once the rollout of the new white ( caid 0963 ) cards had been completed.

oscam reads card and clears pick tv then can pass to other cams

cccam newcs or any other cam not clearing pick tv as card readers

keep your original cccam 2.1.3 config
and add the N line to your cccam cfg
