the port in the n line in cccam must match the port in oscam cfg
which is 12000

you can change that to what port u like
but they must match

It's been said elsewhere that DVBAPI is more difficult to configure than CCCam. Apparantly, using MGCamd you can AU the Sky card as well.

All this experimenting looks fun, I wish I had the hardware to have a play around

I do agree with you there lincsat as it looks very intresting, wish I had the time on my hands to experiment.

It was a lot more difficult on first release but it is easy enough to configure but takes a bit of time. But as you said the fun is in the tinkering

You can AU the Sly card with Oscam if you have dvapi active so no need for another cam. But horses for courses and each person will have a preferred method, I like mine but as said it takes a bit of work.

you need to edit your configs

ln var/tuxbox/config



unzip the file below

put these 3 files ln var/tuxbox/config
- oscam.conf
- oscam.user
- oscam.server



put your boxkey in oscam server file

looks like this

boxid = yourboxid

( boxkey is like this 12345678 and not like this 12 34 56 78 )


put this N line in cccam cfg

N: 127.0.0.1 12000 test1 test2 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256

restart oscam

thats it

you can log in to oscam via browser

DM IP http://192.168.X.X:8888
