i thought thats why you use ccam alongside oscam , if oscam didn't have this flaw you would only use oscam standalone ?? yes ??

As said earlier look at anticasc as a means of some limited control. Or look at camd35 or go another proxy route, e.g. CSP.

There are many alternates each will have it's pros and cons. Look at tweaking a few things yourself and you may find a "balanced" set up.

Well depends on how you see it as a flaw. Dare say pay servers wont like it. Oscam and cccam will still be shared if client has oscam. Although i was told by a member on here that a anti oscam can be used. But like said satsmo said try a few and do what works for you and only allow who you trust.

My understanding is that you do not need a BK for OSCam, just leave that box blank.

yes the newer versions dont need the boxkey it auto detects the boxkey/caid etc ,but people using older versions may need the boxkey .

I have attached the screen shot of what happens when I go to run newcs(oscam). I followed all the instructions, downloaded latest version of oscam, installed newcs on dreambox and then replaced with oscam binary and chmod 755.

Put all 3 oscam files in var/tuxbox as told.

When I run newcs I get the following errors, says some files are missing.

Any ideas?

looks like you dont have the oscam.server file with the reader info
