Yeah andy if the plugin does not have .ipk at the end of it add it mate.

Put the .ipk file in /tmp/ then from the Plugin - addon - manually install ipk files, select the file and install it from there. When complete, then you restart Enigma2.

Yeah worth a shot mate I never got round to trying it properly but it has worked for a lot of people.

It worked.
One remark. Why do the files not appear in the internal flash option trying to install an ipk file through "Software Management / Install local extensions/ Internal Flash" (message: "No displayable files on this medium found").
Instead I have to copy the file to the connected USB stick (folder media/usb) and install it from there.

unzip file.

FTP to box and go to

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/

Delete the mytube folder, restart engima2

ftp this file to /tmp and then do a manual install ipk file.

Restart enigma2.

When i try to install manually i get the following error:

Anyone know what i should do ?

BTW - I am not Linux user , and i don't have this Path on the telnet /media/hdd//usr" , for some reason this path is paste here automatically , do i need to set it up from inside the dreambox maybe .
