Well, I just got this box from madeinchina.com and it is working exelent besides the time problem. I have Peterpan image on it since I use it in Norway. It would be nice to get this fixed without returning it to china as that is rather expensive...anyone has tips or workarounds?

I also have the time problem.
I will try the given solutions #14 and #60
Hopefully it will work.
I also happen to have the frontprocessor 3.
So it reallly seems to be a bad batch.
If the given solutions wont work, i'll try to return the box and get one with a frontprocessor 1 in replace.Comment

This the best solution I have tested with nemises image workingi have had this problem on standby for a long time
and iv'e spent days at it testing and trying everything
and anything, but today iv'e had everything working for
hours by using the SERVER time.windows.com and adding a
couple of lines of script in the settings folder using the
latest sim 2.10 merlin3 image i will add a folder if anyone
wants to make a test and see if it works for them all the info
is in the doc with the file
Thank for thisComment

I had Nemesis 2.5 image, and just adding this config.misc.useTransponderTime=false line to enigma2 settings did the trick, did work fine. Now I accidentally updated image to Nemesis 2.6, and it doesn't work any more. Problem is, I can still add the line, but after restart the line is gone. Did all the saves and everything. I don't know what's the problem now, still keep trying. This npk + DVB time combo seems to not work to me. So, still searching answers.Comment

Looks like, that I got this problem solved for now. I changed this TransponderTime setting from =false to =True, and now it seems to be working. So install this GP2 DVB time plugin and npk config file an try it out. At the moment it works fo me.Comment

i'm faced with the same problems...checked with supplier and was informed that it was a hardware failure...problem was i had a hdd installed in the box which was only able to record shows for about 70 minutes before the box hung up and freezes. but the moment i removed my internal hdd, clock would be operating as per normal. Puzzled as to how the hdd affects the clock settings..Comment

Sorry for replying to this old thread, but I have same problem.
I tried everything, but it is not working.
DVB Time plugin - nothing, I tried all setting. NTP and Force DVB time solution => not working
Which is interesting too: I am unable to set manually time from ssh with date command. It just not change.
Is there any other way to resolve this issue?
I installed latest Newnigma2
800SE cloneComment
