    THANKS for the replies.

I have ordered another but I will be lost if that one doesn't work. As you say if you know yours works then I should definitely be able to sort it out.

If you let me know how much you want for it and how you`d want paying that would be grand. THANKS

(Hi Daithi, with regards to 3g router and dongle - I have this set up working, but the problem is I need to pay for the 3g part, whereas it is free on my iPhone so I don't see the point in paying twice if I can help it)

Hi, ya it works 100%, its the Belkin based on RT73 chipset, could paypal it, but as you say you waiting for another,

I tried connecting it to my phone 02 3g, it connected but channels didnt clear but the addons and tspanel worked which was weird thinking the 02 is stopping the sharing part

          Hi,

Lombard, I have got another Wireless Dongle today (Belkin F5D9050 ver 3002uk) and I have found nowhere that mentions WLAN within my Network so I can only take it this ain't a working Dongle either.

I am at my wits end with them, . I mean, they've only cost a fiver a piece but I have tried 4 different ones now that are no use nor ornament to me. It all adds up to a dear dongle, .

Thus, I am very interested in your known working one if you could let me know how much you would like for it and how you would want paying.

                Hi,

Firstly, CHEERS Lombard, I received the Dongle yesterday.

I have just got round to trying it out, and I get the same results as with all the others I have tried, so I am obviously missing something.

When it is plugged in it doesn't light up. I re-boot, it still doesn't light up. I go to Setup, System, Network, and nowhere does it mention WLAN. I do not know if I am supposed to enable it somewhere, and if so I do not know where as I cannot find any mention of WLAN anywhere within the menus.

Could someone PLEASE help me out here if they can see where I am going wrong as this is driving me crackers now. Is it the rev M tuner that doesn't work with wireless dongles?

                CHEERS (& Merry Xmas)

                    Hi Lombard,

I don't doubt you for 1 second that it works. I too am 100% sure it's something I am doing wrong, that or my box isn't compatible or something.

Can any of you make any suggestions as to what I can try next?

                    Cheers

                        Hi,

Just tried both upper and lower USB slots with a flash drive and both of them recognise it and display the info in the device manager.

Does it matter which slot is used for the dongle? Is there nothing needs to be done in the setting to allow it to see the dongle, as it doesn't even light up (much like it wouldn't light up in a PC until the driver is installed).

                            Hi,

Well it's not playing ball at all with me. I have tried top usb, bottom, rebooting, etc.

Nothing I do will bring up a WLAN menu.

Thanks for trying, but this just about has me beat.
