    Some drivers in tspanel,
Tsdreambox addons / drivers-extra / wlan-rt73-dm800, try it after downloading these drivers mate, obviously with the dongle attached at bootup

      Hi there,

I did download these using TSpanel a few weeks ago.

Could someone just confirm, once downloaded they install automatically because all i did was click on them in TSPANEL ADDONS and then reboot when prompted.

      Thanks in advance

        Hi,

I have gone through TSpanel again, and downloaded anything that mentioned WLAN, RT**, Wifi, and rebooted each time, but still no mention of WLAN within the network settings.

I am obviously missing (or misunderstanding) something fundamental. But it now has me beat, I've had it to the back teeth with the **** and im well ******* ***** off with it.

        THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO

Is there any reason why you cant just use homeplugs with a short length of ethernet lead?
Im taking it you have a router and it doesnt need to be near the Dreambox,

          Andy,

              Hi,

I only have access to the one Dm800 (unfortunately, as I am convinced its something to do with the Rev M tuner).

With regards to homeplugs, I am using homeplugs now. But this is for taking it away with us in a Campervan (which I already have working via a mobile router, but this means I need to have a Mobile Broadband SIM, which is an expense I don't really need. I would at least like to try it using my iPhone and MyWi).

I hate being beat, but this has definitely got the better of me now.

its got noting to do with rev m tuner, i have had a few all work, even the old dm800 with old tuner, as long it runs image with rt73 drivers installed should work, i have had it working on a dm800se and a vu duo, i got 3g on my phone, so connected my phone to box to get internet access, it glitches alot, im using a galaxy s2 on tmobile also tried 02, still glitches, must be my area
