Hi, no mines with fedex even though i requested DHL but tracking says should get on tuesday, also i dont know if image will use the full flash avalible or ram, as its based on the xp1000 receiever , it uses its images and that box is lower ram and flash, also its not 600mhz its 501mhz

Hi all ,. can you please explain what Images are you installing to this Box (Cloud IBOX2 600MHZ) and where to download ?
In this video Cloud Ibox 2 HD Sat Receiver auf VU+ Solo Basis - Test Review (german/deutsch) - YouTube the person is running BlackHole , but someone here said it can not install black hole because it just for VU , can I download original images or do I need speciial patched images ?
Can I download directly from here......................................... ?
Should I choose VU+ Solo or OCTAGON-SF8-HD-XP1000?
I found this site but its quite empty :.....................................

Also which chip will better for streaming with TSMEDIA ,does one chip offer better GSTreamer video decoding codec support with over the other ?

that video is a clone of a vu solo in a shell looking like a dm800se, so yes it will take blackhole images, as vu solo does

I've had my Cloud iBox (original) for 4 weeks now and I'm chuffed with it.

I replaced the fan with this as it was too noisy: Mini Kaze, 40mm x 10mm Quiet Cooling Fan

I removed the card reader and shorted pins 5 and 6 with a HDD jumper. I found that if you don't do this, you'll see a lot of crashes.

I leave the lid on but keep the box upside down. It runs cool and silent.

I'm running VIX 3.0.761 VU+ Ferrari V3a and it never crashes. I leave it on 24/7.

I've got lots of plugins installed (cacheflush, mediapanel, tsmedia) and all work without any issues. I've also installed the MetrixHD skin and that works and looks great.

I've setup a swap file to help but I'm not sure it's needed.

I paid ?60 for my box and it's an absolute bargain.
