hi m8 need your help how do find if they got v3 chip in them plzzz any help/info would be greatly appreciate

both of my boxes have the v3 chip in them i flashed them both with the patched version of blackhole 2.0.6 any image up to blackhole 2.0.5b work without being patched but after that they have put a mac address check in the image all the clone boxes have the same mac number so all you get is a black screen after you flash 2.0.6 original

most of the chinese suppliers tell what chip is in the box i am now looking at the cloud ibox 2 with the 600mhz chip in with the v3.2 chip

most suppliers are quoting about $102 dollars delivered to the uk but they will not be ready for 2 weeks yet

Hi new at all this, so would appricate if someone could confirm if it okay's ok for me to flash me box with the 2.0.06 image and the best way usb stick or serial cable. Dont really want to end up with a door stop.

flash it with the patched 2.0.6 image from the ferrari team it works good just format your usb stick in fat32 put the vuplus folder on your stick switch your box on your blue light will go sort of pinky blue then it will go to red and then flashing blue switch of your box remove usb then restart your box takes a wee while to do but it is a good image i prefer blackhole myself compared to all the other images

Appear on AliExpress as the sale has not yet appeared in the Chinese say Officially Supported by OpenPLi, OpenAAF and the ViX Team and how we see that first to see if the price is competitive ....

you'd dead wrong there, while the ViX image may run on these clones ViX will never offer support of any kind for any cloned receiver. If and when things go pear shaped you'r on your own.

Indeed but there will never be any official support from ViX for any clone and those who choose to put ViX on a clone will get no support at all if and when things go wrong.
