Yes but results differ, for best results a straight null modem connection is recommended, however give the USB adapter a try, you need dreamup program and read the numerous guides and posts for " no CA error " fix, you also need a suitable image for your genuine box

I have finally got help from someone. He manage to flash my box and I got TS panel image. It look fantastic but I still want to know if its the best image for HD channels available which can provide a smooth picture quality using between different line, please

I think your genuine box is a clone mate, not sure which version you have but the latest sim2 images are 84D and contain latest dmm drivers for best performance, when the box boots up check the lcd screen for any reference of "sim2" , is the guy who fixed the box the same guy who sold you the box ?

I have checked the authenticity of on dream multimedia website and now i have little or no doubt that its an original box, unless if you can provide me with good information.....

I have tried to flash the box myself but i ended up with a big disaster. Here you can see the message for the sim number etc...

No, its a different guys who set up the box. I bought the box from an auction website .....E**y.....

You never answered my question. How much did you pay for the box? If it was over ?400 it might be an original. If it was ?125 or similar its definitely a clone, Andy.

Its a clone so don't be fooled. I don't know anyone with an original so your not on your own. Have you still got the fleebay listing? Andy.

I got it as a second hand/used I paid around ?145.00 plus postage and packaging. My brother has got dreambox dm800 se cloned version. I can see the difference in quality. This dream dm800 pvr is much better with built-in quality which I can see with my eyes. I did authenticity test on the website. Serial number and mac number, both match with the sticker on the box.....
