NEW mini vu duo twin tuner dreambox hybrid !?

Hello, I received my vu + duo mini. I want to know if I install directly VIX 3.0, or if I do an update of the bootloader before, and update security. or both at the same time? thank you for your help

Download the latest vix duo build from their site and install directly via usb. No need to update bootloader.

Hi all same issue as others got vu+ duo mini. Was working fine With vix but decided to install a hard drive since then It won't start I have tried various images but no good.

Unfortunately , this seems to be a common fault with this box.
I aswell as others have reported the ssme problem.
However others are using them without issues.

Which email did you use to contact them mate? I sent an email a few weeks ago to their sales address but haven't heard anything back

Mine never worked at all after hard drive install.

had mine for few months now no issues, its set to record nearly everyday, not a single issue for me

I contacted them on xxxxxxxxx. They got back to me quickly offering advice, asking me to install an older blackhole image. However after the failed attempt to fix the box, I had to be persistant in e-mailing them asking for a returns address. Then finally they sent me an address and returns form.

UPDATE.My box is working agian . Not sure exactly what happens but I left it on then came back to it after about 6 hours and the fan was spinning. So I re flashed boot loader then vix and it seems to be working at the moment.

"just send you the new software,that engineer test it okplease check and reflesh it thanks"
I take it they want me to try and load vix back onto it, I didn't receive any software with the email

tried it no luck, so contacted them again to get returns address.

Disappointed to hear that,these recent clones ,Mini Duo,Cloud iBox 2 and 3 etc ,all seem to be problematic .
I was thinking of getting a Mini Duo but not worth the hassle if its faulty and needs to go back to China ,I have had enough of that in the past .
