Maybe in the future we will get some stronger tuners?

I think the debate is still going on wether the tuners are at fault or the boxes. Once someone swaps out their tuner we will know whats at fault.

Mine arrived today, I paid ?215 including delivery to UK.

Just setting it up as we speak, loading a new image to it though as I dont trust Gemini image.

Nothing to major just finding my way round the box software,
I tried flashing latest Pli image but got the no ca found error, turned out to be bootloader problem & mine is the later 1 with 72 bootloader.

I can confirm I am getting the problems with break up on S*k HD UK, all other HD channels seem fine.

S*y 1HD is working fine but cant seem to get rid of black lines either side of picture, have tried all the different settings in Pli image.

I will persevere and might tey getting it to multiboot to try other images.

Will try a different image first, if not will give signal booster a go.
It seems to run cooler than my Openmedia, it has got a heatsink and fan on cpu.

Yes and had to find a power lead as it came with a 2pin plug one, and a network lead but even adding these costs on it is still a good price and if you can get it for the price quoted early in this post even better

I myself would wait it out when the dollar is slightly weaker-have a look at yahoo finance. Its how I decide when to buy a computer part from a wholesaler seeing as their prices fluctuate according to the dollar As I said, the dollar is the currency of business in most countries(including us)

I always use Nabilo images on my 800 as these seem to be the most stable for me !
