softcam not working?

hi there when i Patched my Tm 5200d usb it worked fine then when i tried to upload the softcam it completed everything looked okay but when i go to the channels which should be open they say "scrambled channel"
I used a usb to do the above

i dont know what i have done wrong please can some one help

Hi. Check in SYSTEM INFORMATION under s/w and it will tell you what patch you are using ie 153p(your model may be different). Check that this patch is valid for your model . Also what channels are you trying to open?? Regards.

hi I have got s/w version: 1.87p with the Tm model 5200d usb

the channels im trying to open are cartoon network and boomerang on astra 19.2

did you goto transfer data menu and when on the softcam file did you press ok on your remote you don't upload at this stage
and the transponder would be 11.778 v 27.500 for both kiddies channels

Yeah sorry up there i wrote i uploaded it when i actually pressed ok at that stage and a little window popped up and the green bar on it went form 0 to 100 in a flash but the kids channels dont work

make sure that in the option menu everythings is off
and in the system information menu you see a cas and biss menu bar if the bars are not there press 2004 and they should apear
and sometimes it takes a while to start descrambling turn off the tm and turn back on

does any of the other providers clear for you like ned1+2+3 or rtl4+5+7+8 or the Orf channels on 19.2east
and is the cas or biss menu's there in your system information menu and did you load the patch or did you load original firmware

I havent checked other channels (will check) but the cass and biss menu are there and I have phantoms patch with your latest softcam

maybe download latest softcam again and load to your tm again
not sure about your model but on most others i've seen confirmed those channels open with the latest patches only canaal digitall nl is hit and miss with some models

Hi. CANAAL DIGITAL, TNTSAT, ORF, AUSTRIASAT, CANALSAT channels should all open on 19.2 east. I just had a look and all working ok on my TM5400. Did you get any of the channels with a previous softcam?? Also is your signal strength correct?? Regards.

try using patch 152 i have 5300 & those channels are open on that but disney/veronica &comedy central have gone today

152 is for the supers ? and he is trying to get boomerang and cartoon network from canal sat

Hi. BOOMERANG and CARTOON NETWORK (11776V s/r/27500) working fine. He wont get these channels if he does not get the others. I find it hard to believe that he is not getting any channels opened with latest softcam. I would do the following:
1) go to CARTOON NETWORK. wait for SCRAMBLED CHANNEL message.
2) on remote press 9797. This will bring up the ECM menu.
3) Check setting is on AUTO.
If not set it to AUTO and SAVE. Wait a few seconds and
see if it clears. Regards.
