Hi - tried to download the latest patch for the TM5400CI+ but it keeps saying the archive is corrupted.

this is a regular problem for lots of the members
and this has been asked many times
are you useing the internet explorer as your browser ?
if you are it has problems downloading files from forums
download and use firefox as your browser it's free and works great

Thanks for reply - will do.
Have also sorted softcam loading out and got digi-tv channels back, which was reason for editing previous post.

I think I've got my head round loading things and what does what now!

I'm still pretty new to this and trying to learn more, could some one tell me

I have the TM6800 do I have to turn off AU when adding softcams, I noticed in some posts people say turn off AU and others say Turn AU on, I'm a little confused

the latest patches say the A/U is fixed for digi-tv
so the patch should update the key for you.
you can just load the tm softcam and leave the A/U on
then you will keep the other providers open when they
change key.if the patch stops autoupdating the digi-tv
key you must turn the A/U off in the options or the patch
will continue sending false keys out and change the softcam key
and the channel wount open

Are you wanting Nagra3? If so see today's thread on Premiere Hacked. I don't think there is a softcam for Nagra3.

Hi, sorry trying to find Soft Cams for a Technomate for a friend. Does it mater where I download them from?

Any ideas why I can't download the file above?

I think you have to make a couple of posts first mate, and i have had trouble downloading with Internet Explorer, you have to use firefox

Technomate TM5500 CI plus

Hello. I ave a fairly old Technomate TM 5500 CI plus. Am i correct in thinking that none of the patch files currently available will work with this set.

Im thinking i may need to replace it with a new model such as the 5200D

you are corrrect mate there is no support for your old tm now
i think the last official software was in 2003
as for updating go for the tm5400 it's a better receiver

from your post this channel was open with the patch?
so it must be part of the digi-tv chns and i dont have
this chn on my list. can you post the frequency details
as the only planeta-tv i can find on thor is
encrypted in conax it's a documentry chn
from bulgaria on thor 3 nordic beam
12.169-h-28000 7/8 dvb-s qpsk and for me
from the uk i get no signal from this frequency
