original vu duo2 /vu zero/ tm-nano-se. v-box / 36v /1.2 dish,
it does'nt show a remote and on the large pic
of the tablet it has all the remote functions on it
thats why i thought it was being used as a remote
other than this most who buy a sat box wont want
the tablet. but thinking about this new duo i bet there
is'nt any change from ?500 plus from the price

It probably is being used as a remote just like you can use Dreamon on your iphone/ipad for any enigma box :-)
I've seen other pics of the box and the remote for it is the one that comes with the ultimo, most people replace with the one that comes with the solo/uno/duo as it's much better.

I agree you don't want to spend mega when you are always tinkering with them that's part of the fun in having one. But technology keeps improving and maybe this will be much better . Wait and see someone will have one to try no doubt.
id advise anyone to give it 6 months after the release date unless you want to be shafted with the rrp... vu are turning into dmm with asking silly money for what is after all a satellite reciever.... no doubt the vix fanboys will be getting free ones to test so the gullable among you will stump up your hard earned. ive put my duo up for sale and im going for a uno as the TUNER is slightly better, hopefully the duo2 with have sensative tuners onboard. regards mdt

any chance the auto updates on vix 2.4 are having an effect on the tuners? mine have got a lot worse recently (tune failed!) or is it just the tuners finally packing in? (clone by the way)
