Can you go back to image you had to test. That will tell you. I couldn't say clones were worse than original. I have tried both and both ran well. I never autoupdate anything. HTH

update... ive plugged in my old dm800pro clone for more tests against the duo a low and behold the dm800 locked the greek biss channels on 3east and also the dvbs2 channels on 57east(duhok ect)whereas the duo would not... imho the duo is a fantastic box let down by the crappy tuners, regards mdt

Do you think there's any truth in the statement that some people say that the image makes a diff?

The Image always matters as the one that becomes more user friendly will be the one that get's used most in the end.

my duo has always had blackhole on it from day one although its not without faults... ill shove VIX 2.4 on it now and run the tests on 57e/21.6e and 3e to see how it go,s. regards mdt

im getting tune failed! on most HD channels on both A&B tuner, C4HD is an exception.... all other channels working fine.... using vix2.4 with auto updates

curious not vu related but query with bh image on another make if audio description is on volume is louder and switching it off mutes it,meaning higher up volume on tv,vix goes louder but does bh on vu do it?

was that on a fresh scan or old scan as channels do move and if old bouquet is used you will see that message.
