hello,
I have some problems with autocom:
was everything okey,but after i fail to connect to ford mondeo 2004,i see no LED lights on at all,device dead.
I have oki chip inside,was able to do everything on fords before,but now,not work on all cars...try to reinstall software no look,then i try to plug inn cable to usb i can see table(windows.xp)..unknown device...maybe someone have this problem with autocom?thanks.

i think your hardware is dead, check the voltage regulator near the capacitors

I got one time same fault, and guess what; Pin 4 or 5 (ground pins, don't remember which one ) was inclined inside OBD2 female blue connector of autocom, so no communication because simply no ground. made it straight, then all went fine;, just take plug, and see if all pins are straight.

yes, you can also measure inside the autocom , if it get's power from obd

I have power from car,but no power from pc usb.Normally then connect autocom to usb,pc recognize device and show Vci device conected,and autocom LED on(red,then not connected to car)....but my autocom complettle dead then i try connect to pc(no LED on)....ant pc shows Unknown device connected,so nothing working even then i try to connect to car,.....looks like no drivers for autocom,but when i try another autocom(good one) everything works,so for sure not software problem,something wrong with pcb board(top one with LEDs).

Looks like the hw of your autocom is dead, for the price it costs, don't bother yourself to fix it, better get a new one !
