Is it possible to have the EPG and recording 2 programmes, pausing capability etc from a single USB stick/drive whilst the other port is occupied by the Wi-Fi?

I dont see why not but maybe a good idea to try a powered external drive rather than having the USB supply power to the drive and wi-fi stick, Puts less strain on the PSU unit

    What about the capacity requirements?...

For instance how much would be required by the EPG and other online TV plugins etc?

How much capacity would a 2hr programme require?

Use an Externally powered hard drive at least 500gb especially if your thinking about doing a lot of recording, a 2 Hour program in HD could take up anything between 7gb to around 14gb

EPG takes up very little space

    Hi all,
i am having problem to play movies, recorded from the net onto my usb stick.
I can record and playback from the zgemma box but anything recorded from a tiers device won't play (not even seen) by the zgemma...
Thinking of a missing plugin, but which one??? An helping hand will be appreciated.
    Thanks guys and girls

are you saying that you have another place for recordings on network or pc and you want to play them on your box, maybe samba or n** to be seen on network.
any usb or hdd needs mounting to be seen if thats your issue.

I will be purchasing this soon. Just to make sure, the H1 works with both Satellite and DVB-C?

I have a cable sub, so I just stick my SmartCard in it and it will work? Then when I get satellite, I can switch between the two, right?

Not correct. You need to do some diggins...we can't discuss that here. Against the rules

Its against the rules talking about a legit sub? I'm not saying sharing or softcam. I'm saying grab the irdeto card from my cable sub (which I pay for) and putting it in this receiver.

I am afraid the latter is Impossible

Dear people who already have this box, u know DM800se renders the OSD and skin at 720p, and scales it up to 1080p when u use HDMI 1080p.

Is this the case for Zgemma H1/H2?

I'm hoping it does 1080p natively cos 720p -> 1080p is not ideal.
