Can this cable be used to download vcds on it's a old vag tacho it's worth a try asking cheers if so how do I go about it thanksIMG_4924.JPG

If I knew where the best place was and not pay £400 for it I think I would if you know some where I don't mind a pointer

Hi mate cheers for that but that hex v2 looks the same as I've got the disc come empty and problems since

It's not the same as you posted previously some posts ago. It's internals are different. Yours = Aliexpress = crap. This one is Atmega162 = good.
Yours case is better, I agree. But internals are crap.

Forget the disk. You need Kolimer's stuff.

Here you can see how it happened (see file attached).

In two words: after trying to chang byte 27 from 00 to 04 it has changed acording to coding debug file to D0. After this I got a lot of faults in BCM but haven’t time to find out the reason. In couple a days I'v get back to the issue and saw completely wrong coding in BCM!

I have exatly the same wire you likned on obd2cartool but I have a lot of difficult to properly program this wire. This beacause when I connect the wire to car the led doesn't turn on. I have to connect and disconnect many times then the led turn on red then green. And the wire after few times used does not work anymore. Can you tell me in witch way you program this wire please?

You can program it by giving +12v and GND on the OBD connector. For supply the Voltage regulator that power on the ATMEGA.

Hi all,

I'm having trouble starting V5 loader under win xp, only splash, vcds program not starting, i think loader probably requires higher version of dotnet then 4.0 because under win 7 there are no any problems. Can somebody confirm this.
