need to use this device to add a key tomorrow my garage mechanic has just bought one and has a few mercedes keys to do as anybody a idiot guide for adding key

instructions for adding key the look misleading just on collect data and upload data is there any failsafe incase you make mistake thank you as never worked on

mercedes before .

Collect data->save file->load it->query result->copy pass->read eis data->in reading eis window paste your pass and save eis data->generate keys-> write key->be happy.

updated cgdi to latest software trying to read data on a w215 220 mercedes says read error any help please also manually selected chassis .

The only trusted company came with the idea that you don’t need to solder wires to read dump, you put the board in the reader on you go and read the dump and this tool 100% works better then AVDI arbrites.

On W210 you can not even turn the key in the EIS if steering lock does not communicate with ignition switch. You would not be able to start the car for sure. I guess steering lock mechanism has failed.

I have successfully programmed elv simulator on W204, password calculation took less than 1 min. Did everything on the car through obd connector.

The steering lock was working fine on the with old key before adding another key
The owner my mechanic says
The lock is in the unlocked position all the
Time does not lock once both keys removed
And the vehicle starts and run with both
Keys.

Hello I need help. Can I replace EIS 2035450308 in MB C class W203 2003 YEAR with second hand one. I have original working key and I can read EIS on table. I heared that CGDI only can erase EIS 2035450308 . Can I replace EIS 2035450308 with 2035450508. Thanks in advance.

if it recognize as dealer eis, cgdi is not able to write it again after erasing...
if normal eis, then it´s not a problem...
