bb camera sucks everyday every moment.


backing to the post..

i test:

1 vag912 chinese and when i plug the cable red and green led power on.

vagcom 908.1/912 say me NOT PLUGGED INTO CAR.

1 vag908 only power on red led and the same msg on vagcom.


i try to open vag908.1 with vag908 and i never see the vagcom window.

i try to use vagcom 704.1 and i get the same msg cable not plugged into a car.

I cant see xoom tutorial

I am not sure did anybody else suggested this already
but have you tried to change stabilizer 7805

Today i am doing testing of my 2 cables

Cable 1: vag 908.1 (get vagcom time out.)
Cable 2: vag 912. (now working )

I connected 12V to pin 8 of vag 912 and GND to pin 4 and 5 (pc source power - yellow for 12V and black for GND) and the leds has been power up (Red and green).

So, i did think about use MPROG for change some values to ftdibus.inf (driver file) vid: 0403 and pid: FA24.

Well i did an test in vag 912 and work OK.


Now, i going to test VAG 908.1 with the same procedure.

Vag com 908 gets TIME OUT message when i open vag 908.1/912, with 704.1 i get not pluggd into car.

Thanks to everybody for everything do it.

2 cables doesnt work ok, i can make the test ok (if the cable wants) but when i want check some module, i gets error msg.

I'm afraid you will need to reprogram your atmega. I had the same with soft version 704. It was the time I've never heard about digital kaos. Then I found some useful information about programing atmegas on this forum and I have 8xx cable. Nowadays I use genuine becouse of law. It costs about 1700zl equals about 580$. I konw it is quite much even in Poland. But I need something genuine

what about cable from this company in uk (VAG Diagnostics Ltd )Imail them and they answer me cables from ther company will work with the new vcds 10.6 in soon.have any buyed from this company in uk?
