I bought a VAG 10.6 cable from China yesterday - are all Chinese cables identical? I'm currently using VCDS 10.6.0 which came with the cable but it doesn't look like a cracked version...

How do i reflash my cable to 908?

Conect today the car passes the test all OK!, REGISTERED / ACTIVATED but after the entry into SET, TEST ADAPTATION AUTOSCAN or pops up a message

HY! sad storry: had clone interface vcds ver 812.4 that was working perfect, exception that every time i had to set pc time and date back to april2009 in order to use program. Searched on this forum and found dump update and flashed all posible AVR and FTDI flash and eeprom combinations, removed STC chip, resistor and transistor re, re re flashed like said in all these posts.... no results. the only thing that I didn't test to flash GAL16V8 because i don't have a programmer. the problem is that now my interface is unusable.... and i need it. Here are attached pics of pcb and errors that i receive with vcds.... in last case .... maybe someone have dumb of 812.4 ? because i didn't make backup...

already tested this dumb before....maybe it isn't compatible with my hardware??? (when tested i flashed both flash and eep in atmel)

yeah...exactly same file, but it's last modifyed 1:23:50 am not 12:23:50 am also like your attach ...found this dumb in a archive found on this forum, called "VCDS_soft_dump_tools"
