I tried 2 cars ML and A-class (W164 and W169),and DP3 clone not work on them. Always says no connection. Cable is 60/2 , anybody have working cable to compare, maybe is wrong soldered. I will do this one A-class manually now, like that ML,but just want to know did anybody tried it?

...with same tool which I used to do hundreds of EZS before, when clone did not existed...with mother of all tools, ETL912 ;)
I can do it with Rosfar or X-prog, but ETL is tool that is most trustable for me...

thats why you should make [or buy from Capt Crackers ]a set of dongles, each one containing an eeprom, so you have a full set, this makes the job dead easy

Bit late on this but e65 side of the lead the tracks have been cut because chinkys made the pcb wrong repair it and try. Not saying it will work ? The top 2 tracks at the top near j3 just want repairing but solder other 2 wires in correct place, will try one if it comes in

As I remember there was option -2005. And 2005- I did the first.
The read was 0km ! Have try it 4 times now, without success.
Few days ago did some tests with a A6 1999, first try was good, second try I get 9999999 on dash, than 4/5 times no communication, and after a vew times more it work again.
Yesterday a caddy 2011 work without an problem.

Lead ST62 is supposed to conect to the dash plug going to the cluster on E60 E90 E65 to programme the CAS. E65 uses a different connector than the others. I would however not attempt to use clone to do this as the E65 CAS can be damaged if the wrong socket is used. I dont know which socket is which.

Is rather but only one way to find out what it can do. Original is not same s/w version as clone so the clone is able to do a lot more vehicles than original.

Don't use that cable press x on the box when it tells you that cable then it should tell you another cable number 16 which is OBD lead or another number which is cluster plug
have not got machine here so i cant tell u cluster plug number

Never used it either use ST60 or ST16. If using 16 disconnect battery or unplug cluster after programming. If after 01 you will also need to do EZS.

Lo 3 3 is displayed when key programming.

This means there 3 keys stored and youve just put 3rd key in.

Looks like digiprog just never finished programming sequence correctly.

I had backup eprom from another tool and just want to see if digiprog read corect but after reading it show erorr probable because I have not programed new km

it showed error because it can read km only from decrypted eeprom, and for that it needs to set cluster in a new state, after you enter km it switches to used state again and everything works fine

7 days ago I had 2 RB4 Audi. First went fine, second too, but after editing KM, backlight stopped to work, also RPM, shows low oli pressure, and dash not turn on when open dors. I solved it by coding, but I don't like it at all. But, beleive or not, Superprog all RBX dashes work good!
Also tried now one Fabia 2001, check written value, but nothing changed. But good thing is that works perfectly on Crypto Skoda C86.

If your zafira/Astra was vdo it should work.
I tested on corsa 2001 and went ok.
I tested punto 2001 reads good milleage but did not change the milleage, but a 2005 punto (old shape) was good.
I was able to do the 2001 punto with fiat km tool.

I know that,Zafira was VDO, and I have done it with Diga off course,I just concluded that DP3 not work Zafira VDO 2003yr. , and NOT work on Punto 2001. via OBD, punto van,with 95040 not with 908 mcu,with all other tools work ok via OBD. Fabia works via OBD,crypto also, but NOT work on fabia 2001.
I did not tried Mercedes 203 via OBD, just via st60, and NOT work,no connection message.

First try to deconect your car battery,if not work then get out your dash and reed eeprom data,and modify mileage with soft or manual if u know the mileage adres:)

The eeprom clips from DigiProg 3 is a real rubbish. I had to solder two pins two times and the connection with legs is very unstable.

I am looking to buying a CarProg for doing eeprom, do you seem a good idea?

Well, I have read with Digiprog 3, an 93C66 eeprom from Xsara dash without any problems.

Which tool do you recommend better than CarProg for these eeprom ?

Well, I have read with Digiprog 3, an 93C66 eeprom from Xsara dash without any problems.

Which tool do you recommend better than CarProg for these eeprom ?

You could try removing the eeprom by using a sharp screwdriver and very small toffee hammer [the type that used to come with a slab of toffee at Christmas]
Then you could buy some 2 pack solder adhesive from rs components.
2 little tubs, 1 contains silver solder paste glue, the other contains activator.

mix together and it makes a conductive glue!

Then you can stick eeproms on the board without a soldering iron.[you must be very,very careful when doing 144 pin micro`s]


I stopped doing this job because was also afraid of soldering, always burning myself and even set fire to car headlining once,very dangerous tool, soldering iron:afraid::afraid::afraid:

OK OK with etl. I read and write for many years without desolder . . enough to have the right equipment. Never unsoldered no micro focus by when I do this work (2002). however, no controversy. . and I agree with you. the obd and clones killed our business by lowering prices and making sure that everyone can do it at least in part. I always say the best come out in the long run. Happy Holidays

Just use hot air blower from maplin and tweezers work heat round micro and pop off no cleaning and takes 2-3 mins too much chance of catching surrounding components like that just my opinion

Only flash dashboard old km still in EZS and many other module on W211 . Neither device can not do km in EZS on OBD (w203,w211) Mororola 9s12 and 912

i tried the w203 2001 years no connection but the w211 work good i use the programm tacho diag by obd the digi reads actuel mileage correct ,i put the new mileage it work fine no need to remove any fuse and the programm fehlerspeicher work good also

I tried it on a A3 M73 dash (first make backup with upa) than i tried with Digi Prog.
As i could remember i reads good milleage but does not change the milleage, removed battery for a while and milleage stayed the same.
Finally changed milleage with good old TU by cluster plug.

Using adapter 51 to correct Nissan Quest last week... It burned the MCU. Connections inside the adapter was wrong. Some soldering fix it!

I think I'm about to regret my tiny investment in this tool... I have a big box full of wires and adapter, but as per my experience here in America... no a single one helped me to make my job easy. Every car I tried to do with it need to be done with memory extraction or soldering wires to MCU. GM, Ford, Honda, Nissan to name a few are done as usual with my existing and loyal tools... So in short, I didn't see yet any good reason to keep trying this tool. Perhaps it's just intended for European markets instead American...

Also tool for over 10,000 euro have weakened. There is no tool that can make all car makes and models perfectly.

340 USD and the clone is worth the money. Make a couple of cars, and has been paid.

For an original tool you pay a lot of money and not enough for everything

You have to know what the clone can and can not do. Is not a magic wand.
